  2. Light the tip with a lighter or match, allowing it to burn for 30–60 seconds.

  4. To cleanse a space, walk around the area, allowing the smoke to reach all corners.
  5. When finished, place the stick in a heatproof dish, where it will eventually extinguish on its own. It can be re-lit and used multiple times.
